WHAT IS THE TRACKING GAME ?

The 2nd edition of the Tracking Game 2019 took place in Le Marais. As a reminder, a tracking game is a kind of treasure hunt where several teams work together and solve riddles that are linked to places (monuments, edifices, shops, art, small details...) in the district of Paris. Once a team thinks to have found the right answer, they have to rush to the location and take a picture of them if front of what they were suppose to find..

The district is divided into several areas so that players know where to search. The amount of points they get depends on the difficulty of the riddles. Each team has about an hour and a half or two to solve as many riddlez as they can.

At the end of the limited time we check which team got the biggest score and give them a price, but we also reward the team which has taken the most original picture. During the game, players are followed by a "bodyguard" who watches if rules are respected and can help or penalize with their "skills".

Each bodyguard has a different "skill". For instance, one can give the team a time bonus whilst another can give them a malus etc.

Some players from the Tracking game 2018 came again (of course with the rule that they can't intervene if they already know one of the riddles) so it made us happy! There were three teams: Club Anime (with some members of the club of our school and their friends), La Modestie (with a nice student from Brazil and the friends of our vice-president) and Triforce (mainly members of the project that took care of the organization of the event).

It was a tight game but the winner was  the Club Anime Team. The team who won the prize for the most orginal picture is La Modestie Team! The prize was gift cards. We were pleased to hear that everyone had fun and we had good feedbacks. Some people are even ready for next year's edition!
